120 minutes : Biographical Drama
On June 11, 1992, while being interviewed for a top-secret
security clearance, Colonel Cammermeyer admitted that she
was a lesbian. Subsequently, she became the highest ranking
military officer ever discharged because of sexual orientation.
This movie follows her military life through her discharge
and reinstatement on June 1, 1994, by a Seattle Federal judge,
who said that discharge based on sexual orientation was
unconstitutional. Colonel Cammermeyer has resumed her duties
while awaiting an appeal.
